Etchells European Championship, Italy October 2010,

It was a tight finish at the European championship’s and the event was not decided until the last race, and it was Holly Scott sailed by John Gimson, Eamonn O'Nolan, Rachel Williamson and Kinley Fowler, with Robert Elliott’s Bedrock second and HEX under the new ownership of James Howells third. 

12 boats competed in Italy, 4 of which made the trip from the UK, which at a time that the French petrol stations were on strike was no mean feat, and all of them spoke of their enthusiasm for the event, the venue and in particular the hospitality of Marco Cimarosti and his organising team, not only on the water, but also in the restaurant’s.
